Take Control of Your Money – Without Feeling Overwhelmed

If budgeting has ever felt confusing, stressful or like something you should understand but don’t – this spreadsheet was created for you.

The Budget Right Spreadsheet is a simple, practical tool that helps you see exactly where your money is going, so you can finally feel calm, clear, and in control.

No complicated formulas.
No financial jargon.
Just a simple structure that works.

Why This Spreadsheet Works

Most people don’t struggle because they’re bad with money.

They struggle because:

  • Bills feel overwhelming
  • Spending happens without noticing
  • Money disappears too quickly
  • Budgeting feels too hard to start

This spreadsheet changes that.

It shows you clearly what’s coming in, what’s going out and where your money is really going – backed by a visual Dashboard that turns your numbers into charts you can actually read at a glance.

What You’ll Be Able To Do

✔ Enter your income in seconds
✔ Track everyday expenses easily
✔ See if you’re spending more than you earn
✔ View your spending broken down by category in a pie chart
✔ Identify extra money you can use to pay off debt
✔ Feel more confident managing your money

Everything is pre-formulated, so the maths is done for you.

How It Works (Simple & Clear)

Step 1 – Add Your Income

Enter your after-tax income and choose how often you’re paid.

Your income is automatically divided using the proven: 70/10/10/10 system

  • 70% Expenses
  • 10% Savings
  • 10% Splash Cash
  • 10% Donations

Step 2 – List Your Expenses

Choose from ready-made categories like:

  • Groceries
  • Rent or Mortgage
  • Utilities
  • Loans
  • Insurance
  • Everyday Spending

No setup required.

Step 3 – See Your Budget Clearly

Instantly view:

✔ Weekly
✔ Fortnightly
✔ Monthly totals

And see if you are under budget or over budget.

Plus, a dedicated Dashboard tab shows your spending by category in a pie chart and your income allocation in a bar chart, so you can see exactly where your money is going without digging through rows of numbers.

No guessing.

Just clarity.

1 review for Budget Right Spreadsheet | Budget Planner & Expense Tracker

  1. Anamika Verma –

Great post on budgeting techniques! The spreadsheet seems super useful for anyone trying to manage their finances better. Just curious, wouldn’t it be better to adjust the percentages of cash flows depending on someone’s specific financial goals or situation? Either way, it seems like a great way to get started with budgeting. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your review Anamika. I’ve set the cashflow percentages to best work their cashflow based on my findings. It’s easy for anyone who wants to increase their specific financial goals by allocating items to their expenses – they can use for savings, investment properties – anything they want.
