Budget Right provides practical financial education, budgeting education and general financial information designed to help people better understand and manage their money.
Our products and services may include books, workbooks, budgeting spreadsheets, digital resources, educational materials, budgeting coaching, workshops and other money management resources.
Budget Right provides education and general information only. We do not provide personal financial advice or financial product advice, and we do not recommend specific financial products. We also do not provide legal, accounting, tax or credit advice.
The information and education we provide does not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation or needs. You remain responsible for your own financial decisions and should consider your individual circumstances and seek appropriately qualified professional advice where required.

If you purchase from outside Australia, your financial institution or payment provider may apply currency conversion rates, international transaction fees or other charges. These charges are determined by your provider and are outside Budget Right’s control.
We take reasonable steps to ensure prices displayed on our website are correct.
If an obvious pricing or typographical error occurs, we may contact you before fulfilling the order. If an affected order cannot be fulfilled at the correct price, we may cancel the order and refund amounts paid for the affected product or service.
Physical Products

Digital Products and Downloads
Digital products may include spreadsheets, planners, worksheets, PDFs, templates and other downloadable resources.

You must not, without our prior written permission:

Budget Right books, workbooks, spreadsheets, downloads and other educational resources are provided for educational and general information purposes.
Examples, strategies, budgeting methods and financial information contained in our resources are general in nature and do not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation or needs.
Results will vary depending on individual circumstances, decisions and actions. We do not guarantee that using a Budget Right product, resource or method will result in a particular financial outcome, level of savings, debt reduction or other result.
Coaching and Educational Services
Budget Right coaching is an educational service designed to help participants understand budgeting, money management and money mindset concepts.
Budget Right and Carrie-Ann McLean do not provide personal financial advice, financial product advice, legal advice, accounting advice, tax advice or credit assistance through coaching sessions.
Information discussed during coaching is general and educational in nature. You remain responsible for decisions made in relation to your finances.
Any specific booking, payment, cancellation or rescheduling conditions disclosed when you purchase or book a coaching session also form part of the terms applying to that booking.
Workshops and Speaking Services
Workshops, presentations and speaking engagements are educational in nature.
Specific fees, inclusions, travel arrangements, cancellation conditions and other terms may be agreed separately for individual bookings.
Where separate written booking terms have been agreed, those terms apply to the relevant booking in addition to these Terms & Conditions.
Pre-orders
Products offered for pre-order will include information about their anticipated availability or release where appropriate.
Release and delivery dates are estimates and may change due to printing, production, freight or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will aim to communicate material delays where appropriate.

Shipping and Delivery
Physical orders are dispatched from Brisbane, Queensland.
We aim to dispatch in-stock orders within the timeframe stated on our Shipping & Returns page.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the carrier, destination, peak periods, customs processes and circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If an order is delayed, damaged, lost or incorrectly delivered, please contact us so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy where required.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to delivery or products purchased from us.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country. Where these charges are payable by the recipient, they are not included in the purchase or shipping price charged by Budget Right.

Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a product or service does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or other remedy depending on the circumstances and the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law.
If you believe there is a problem with a product or service you have purchased from Budget Right, please contact us and provide your order details and information about the problem.
We may ask for photographs or other reasonable information to help us assess the issue.
Change of Mind
Budget Right does not generally provide refunds or exchanges where you have simply changed your mind, chosen the wrong product or no longer require the product.
This change-of-mind policy does not affect any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is required or approved, it will generally be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Processing times after a refund has been issued may vary depending on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
We do not deduct payment processing fees from refunds where doing so would be inconsistent with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website and Budget Right’s products and resources, including text, graphics, logos, branding, photographs, illustrations, worksheets, spreadsheets, templates, downloads, book content and educational materials, is owned by or licensed to Budget Right and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access website content for your personal and non-commercial use.
